Round Rock Empty Bowls Festival raises $6257

The Round Rock Empty Bowls Festival is pleased to announce that the Festival raised $6,257 for The Round Rock Area Serving Center!

Since 2010, the Festival has raised $59,352 for The Round Rock Area Serving Center

(100% which goes directly to feeding families on our community!)

The $6,257 for this year will purchase 51,000 lbs of food from the Capital Area Food Bank and will fill a grocery cart of food for 775 families!

In addition, the Round Rock ISD Council of the Arts Food Drive collected 7123 and counting items of non-perishable food for The Round Rock Area Serving Center.  Congrats to our recognized high count campuses: Elsa England ES (937 items), Walsh MS (1107 items) and Cedar Ridge HS (480 items)-all have trophies to hold for the coming year when we challenge campuses again to participate!

Thanks to all who attended, volunteered, performed, served and bought bowls.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 7, 2018 for The Round Rock Empty Bowls Festival.
