Round Rock ISD named Best Community for Music Education by NAMM Foundation

Round Rock ISD Fine Arts has been recognized as one of the 583 school districts that are among the Best Communities in the nation for music education.  The award program by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded education.  Its mission is to advance active participation in music making across the lifespan by supporting scientific research, philanthropic giving and public service programs. Designations are made to districts and schools that demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education.  This designation is an annual recognition program adjudicated by a panel of professionals through an application and review process.  Special thanks to David Jennison, Assistant Director for Instrumental Music for leading in this recognition effort on behalf of faculty, students and the music education program in Round Rock ISD.
