This past week middle school band students from CD Fulkes, Chisholm Trail, Deerpark, Hernandez, Hopewell, and Pearson Ranch participated in the first Round Rock Band Classic Etude Competition. This competition was designed to allow students to participate in friendly competition but remain safe by recording assigned Etudes and Scales from their home. Students were split into Maverick and Dragon Divisions and competed in their band program to earn the title Campus Champion. Campus Champions advanced to compete city wide for the title of Round Rock Band Classic Champion. Below are the Round Rock Classic Champions from each division and school.
