Congratulations to the 2024 Heller Awards Winners for Round Rock ISD

Round Rock ISD Fine Arts is proud to share the results of the 2024 Heller Awards for Young Artists (HAYA) for our recent high school musicals presented by Cedar Ridge High School, McNeil High School, Round Rock High School, and Westwood High School.  Last night, 40 central Texas high school productions were celebrated in an amazing awards ceremony.

Imagine Austin’s version of the Tony Awards – only more impactful! The Heller Awards for Young Artists boosts visibility for high school musical theatre programs and generates an event that builds community, while celebrating the hard work and talent of thousands of students and teachers in the Greater Austin area.

Participating schools come together as we pay tribute to the value of arts education in our community. Through award recognition, exclusive master classes, hands-on training with industry professionals, critical evaluations with constructive feedback, scholarships, program grants, and community-wide awareness, the HAYAs celebrate, elevate, and expand musical theatre and the arts in our schools, our community, and our lives.

The program held at The Long Center on April 17, 2024 resulted in the following Round Rock ISD theatre programs and students being recognized with an award.  Congratulations, we are #rrisdproud!
