Their design will be made into a flag and displayed at the National Flag Ceremony at the National Art Education Association Conference and at the Texas Art Education Association Conference. Miss Newlin will also be honored at the State Youth Art Month Exhibition Awards and Reception which showcases Pre-K through 12th grade works of art from across the state of Texas. The Museum is located at 1800 Congress Ave, Austin, TX, 78701. The Museum is open Tuesdays through
Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Youth Art Month exhibit and Youth Art Month flag will be on display February 26, 2024 – March 30, 2024.

This is the first time an elementary student artist from Round Rock ISD has been chosen for this honor and this speaks to the quality of our award-winning visual arts program. Our previous flag designer was in 2014 at Cedar Ridge High School.
